Who Am I?

I’m Victoria, and I’m the founder of Fit To Her Core.

I help moms regain their core and pelvic floor fitness, get rid of the 'mommy pooch', and feel more at home in their bodies, so they can return to pre-baby fitness activities (and life!) without worrying about hurting or peeing themselves.

I have a Master's Degree in Exercise and Sports Sciences, I am certified as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA, a USAW Sports Performance Coach, a Precision Nutrition Level 1 Coach, a Prenatal and Postnatal Corrective Exercise Specialist, and I am also certified as a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer.

I started working with expecting and new moms 18-plus years ago, while completing my master’s degree in Exercise and Sports Sciences.

I’m also a mom myself to three kids, two delivered via C-section and one VBAC, so I’ve been where you are right now. I want you to know that I get you and understand many of the same struggles that you’re going through with your body right now because I’ve been through many of the same as well:

  • ​Dealing with nagging pelvic, hip, and lower back pain day in and day out.

Frequently Asked Questions

Depending on how you are feeling, you can typically start within 2-3 weeks after either type of delivery (vaginal or C-section).  Fit To Her Core Coaching Club is suitable for both vaginal and C-section births.

Absolutely! This program is beneficial for both new and seasoned moms. It's imperative that we continue working on maintaining the strength and function of our core and pelvic floor.
 

Once you get the hang of the routine, it should take you about 20-30 minutes per day. Your goal is to get the routine done every day, if possible.

Yes. All of the exercises in each phase are suitable for pelvic organ prolapse. You will want to double check with your women's health/pelvic floor physical therapist to ensure that they are appropriate for your specific situation and grade of prolapse.

Absolutely! I will want you to make sure that you incorporate it into your current routine, as well as do it as a form of recovery exercise on your non-training days.

You will have immediate access to each of the program tracks inside Fit To Her Core Coaching Club, but I strongly suggest that you take the quiz inside the "Get Started" section so you can determine which program to start with according to your needs.

You will have monthly ongoing access (as long as you are a continuing paying member) to Fit To Her Core Foundations, Stronger To The Core (your Phase 2 Core Strengthening Program, Nourished To The Core (your monthly nutrition coaching program with monthly meal plans, recipes, and nutrition habits to practice because habits are what makes your progress stick), and Empowered To The Core Fitness Program with over 80 workouts that include core and glutes training, total body strengthening, posture workouts, mobility workouts, circuit workouts, metabolic conditioning workouts, and other types as they are added monthly.  The new workouts are added every month inside your membership to help you proceed safely to normal exercise and under my guidance.

You can do this entire program from your home, without space or extensive equipment (mostly body weight and a band) don't need to purchase a ton of new equipment.  
All you need to get started is a small exercise ball (this can even be a kid's ball that you already have), a resistance band, a hip circle, a bench or something that serves as a bench (exp. chair), and a foam roller.

If you choose to do the strength training and metabolic conditioning workouts then you will need a pair of light, medium, and heavy dumbells.
